This 45 minute class is designed for parent and child (or grandparent, caregiver, etc.) to play together while learning coordination, balance, self-awareness, and motor skills through music, parachute play, and movement education instruction. This is a fun class filled with 45 minutes of bonding. We offer several classes with varying age ranges to make development age appropriate while also providing maximum flexibility for busy parents.
3, 4, & 5 years
This hour long class is designed to develop coordination, balance, strength and confidence. It is a fantastic base for all core athletic development! After a fun warm-up that incorporates stretching, aerobics, music, games, and more the kids partake in various circuits designed to develop both gross and fine motor skills. This class is packed with learning, laughs and smiles! There is usually a little inflatable fun as well at the end of class!
3 -5 years / 5 & up /Advanced
These hour long classes develop real gymnastic skills in a non-competitive environment (not to mention a fantastic base for all core athletic development). All of the skills are age appropriate and each class is designed to challenge the kids on a daily basis as well as reward them as they develop. Improved self-esteem, confidence, and physical development are all benefits of this fun filled hour!
3 & Up
Chief Instructor Sensei Trish Jackson leads Kempo's Little Dragon Program as well as the Kempo Pre-Teen Group Class. The Kempo system is based on the Shaolin Ch'uan Fa system. It is a highly effective blend of Karate and Kung Fu techniques that offer an excellent form of self-defense for all age groups. Students learn foundational techniques that will later be built upon as they progress towards their Junior Black Belt. The Junior Black Belt Program is designed to introduce children to martial arts through a very fun and rewarding experience. The program price includes one class per week, a belt, Gi (uniform), expert instruction and no long term contract.
Drop-in Event
Supervised fun that includes time in our gym, time in our inflatable zone and pizza to boot! Need an extra hour in your day? Monkey Time is the perfect solution for you! Your kids will have a blast while you can take a break or get those errands done! Add it on in addition to a class above and not only is it a fantastic value, but you will have even more time to relax and/or be productive! Drop-ins are welcome at the drop-in rate. 9 packs must be used within 9 weeks of purchase.
